84351 William was the son of Elbert Tibbles and Anna Matilda (Jackson) Breeding. William grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where his grandfather and namesake owned a shipbuilding business.

After his marriage to Mary Monroe, the couple lived in South Haven, Michigan, where William managed the Marsland Hotel and served as President of the South Haven Loan and Trust Company.

William was one of the founders of the Monroe Calculating Machine Company. He and his family moved to New Jersey in 1918 where he served as an officer of the company until his retirement in 1929. He also served continuously on the Board of Directors until his death.

Ref. (1) says William died in Orange, N.H., but it is thought that this is a typographical error and should be Orange, N.J.

84359 William was the son of John and Ann (Triplett) Dishman.

There is another William T. Dishman [35537] married to an Elizabeth Monroe [3495]. There could be an error here.

Ref 3 believes William's death date, 1810, is confused with that of another William Dishman.

William also worked with the Santa Fe Railroad in Woodville. One reference says they also lived in Edna, Texas.

On 2 Oct 1905, Anna was accidently shot through the heart and killed by her new husband in a hunting accident. One reference says she died in Treadway, Texas.
