Mark (or Marcus (2) "Pat" Munroe lived in Quincy, Florida. He and Edith were married at 3:30 PM in the First Baptist Church in Dalton, Georgia, by the Rev. A.P. Hauty. After giving birth to ten children, she died at the age of 35 years, 7 months, 8 days.

Pat and Mary were married in Gainesville, Florida at 10 AM on 15 Mar 1912 at the Parsonage of the M E Church South. Rev. J. Edgar Wilson officiated. He was 52 years old, she was 26. They had 8 children.

He was a successful banker in Quincy, serving as president of Quincy State Bankfrom 1890 to 1939. In 1893, he built a huge Victorian style home at 204 East Jefferson. to house his growing family. He left it to his wife, Mary, when he died. After mary died in 1972, the house was purchased by John Welch Bates, a relative, who donated it to the City of Quincy.

Pat was a simple man who cared about people. He loved to go fishing each Sunday.
