Description: Hello, I believe that Ann Munro, not Catherine, was actually married to John McRae.
A headstone erected at Maxville, Ontario, Canada, for John and Ann by their sons provides the flwg. information:
“Our father and mother John McRae Jr. a native of Ross-shire, Scot. Died Feb. 28, 1884 aged 81 yrs. Ann Munro his wife born Nov. 1, 1808 died Mar. 06, 1841. Erected by Hugh Hector John A.â€
These are my 3 ggrandparents so I am very interested to know why there is a difference here in the Munro Clan information. Thank you. Susan Green
