As Secretary and Membership Chairman of the Clan Munro Association USA, you should have my mother, Nola E. Monroe, of Friendship Village, 1400 N. Drake Road, Apt. 167, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49007 on your roles.

My mother passed away on 18 October 1996, at the age of 92, and may be removed from the roles of the Clan Munro Association, both USA and Scotland.

She lived a long and full life, and was neither uncomfortable nor discontent at the end. We will miss her, and remember her fondly, but we recognize that she was ready to leave us. My sister, Donna Lou (Monroe) Ritter, MD, also of Kalamazoo, and I expect to remain members of the Association for many years to come.

Thank you for your help in this matter. My mother very much enjoyed her time in the Association, particularly the trip to Scotland back in the mid-1960's.

      Sincerely, Malcolm L. Monroe
