• Notes

  Archippus and his father were among the early settlers in Evansville, Indiana, and took an active part in the pioneer development and upbuilding of the city. Archippus was initially buried in the Knight Cemetery and in 1923, his remains were reinterred in the same grave with his wife and son Joshua in the Oakhill Cemetery.
