Error alert: Rachel's birth date is given as 1734 but that makes her way too young to give birth to some of her children. Not only that, but with the given dates, Rachel is 44 years younger than her husband. I'm estimating that her birth date is about 1710. There is also a dispute as to the identity of her mother. Most references say she was the daughter of Mary Frank, but a few say she was the daughter of Ann Quisenberry.

«i»I am researching a Thomas Harper who first shows up in Loudoun County, Virginia, beginning in about 1800 and then about 1805 he moved to Southern Virginia, Pittsylvania County, where in died in 1807. What is interesting is he bought about 600 acres of land and yet finding anything on him prior to 1800 has been very very difficult.
I think it is possible he, Thomas Harper of Loudoun and Pittsylvania County, Virginia was a Grandson of Margaret Reeds Harper.«/i»
