James' birth record was found in the Birth Deaths book from the Bristol archive which reads in part: "I hereby certify the following record of births to be true copies from a Bible which was formerly the property of Lydia Bunn [maybe Dunn] now belonging to Sarah Negus, sister of Francie Munro...James Munro Born March 3 1821...Bristol RI June 14 1906 True Copy attest Herbert Bennett town clerk"
