    He graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He retired as a Vice-President from Universal Building Specialties, Lakeland, Florida and was a former director of First South Savings Bank in Holiday, Florida.

    He was a member of the Rotary Club of Clearwater where he was a Paul Harris Fellow, and the Salvation Army, Clearwater Corps, where he served on the Board of Directors. He was also a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity Alumni Association, University of Florida, and a life member of the Clan Mu;nro Association.
