"Mr. William Munro of culcragie married Bethia daughter to Mr. David Belsillie Minister of Corstorphine by whom he had John Mr [? recte Wm.] Andrew David George Helen and Katherine Munros."

"William Munro of Culcragie married a daughter of Alexander McKenzie in Lochsline by whome he has only one daughter."

"William's wife was Margaret Mackenzie."

William was served heir to his father on 29 Jan 1702.

William and his brother, John, and some others were sued by Hugh Munro of Teaninich on 13 Oct 1711, for abstracting grains of all sorts from the Mill of Culmellochie. William and John admitted abstracting three pecks and they were ordered to pay for the grain within fifty days.
