Notes |
- Isaac was editor and publisher of the Boston Patriot and later of the Baltimore, Maryland Patriot. In 1811 he moved to Baltimore where he remained.
In 1814 during the attack on Baltimore by the British, he served as a volunteer in the Artillery Company of Fencibles, which was commanded by Chief Justice Nicholson. He was stationed at Fort McHenry. Later, Governor Sprigg appointed him to one of his staff.
Because both of his parents died young, Isaac became a second father to his brothers and sisters. He gave them a good education.
Isaac's wife was from New Ipswich, New Hampshire.
