  • Notes
    • William was a blacksmith and surveyor. He surveyed and laid out Juniper Hill Cemetery at the end of Sherry Ave., off Bayview Ave. (Crooked Lane), in Bristol, Rhode Island, in about 1840. Many families, including his, moved old graves to Juniper Hill from the Old East Burying Ground near the Common. Juniper Hill now contains many of Bristol's most well known and oldest families.

His wife was the daughter of Amos and Ruth Wright of Bristol, Rhode Island.

One reference says he died in 1813, but this seems very unlikely.
