- Francis married Hattie C. "Mac Diarmid" Rudd, the daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth (MacDiarmid) Rudd. She was a baker for the Batavia City, New York, schools. She was a member of the First Baptist church for more than 50 years and was a member of the church's Wentworth Class.
Francis was the grandfather of Jeffrey Monroe, who died before 9 Apr 1995. It is not known which of Francis' childres was Jeffrey's parent.
The marriage date entered for Francis and Hattie is not certain.
