Notes |
- Abijah moved from Carlisle, Massachusetts to Washington, New Hampshire about 1810 or 1811. He settled in the east part of the town on a farm which he purchased from Rufus Severance, Sr. This farm became the home of his grandson, Daniel L. Munroe (Monroe). He was a farmer and carpenter of industrious habits and he commanded the respect of his townsmen.
