- It is thought that the information for this William and William [6959] may be somehow mixed together. It is not certain which William married Elizabeth Corey. There are two death dates, 1777 and 1759. It is not certain which date belongs to which William.
His grave stone says he died 8 Oct 1777 age 58, which would place his birth in about 1719. Other sources say he was born 16 May 1726. Again, there may be two people confused here.
