- There is some confusion over her real name. In some notes it is shown as Marigold and other notes show Mary Kate. Her brother, William, named his oldest girl Marigold, so Marigold is probably the right name. Also, she was called "Goldie".
Goldie met her husband, Harold Drinkwater, MD when she had a mastectomy. Harold was an anesthetist. This was Harold's second marriage.
