BIO:William George, named for his grandfather, was the twin of Benjamin F. He left the homestead before 1925 and eventually settled in Seattle where he and wife Margaret had a store in the University District. He died in 1936 at age 33 as the result of a car accident. As was his habit he closed and locked his store late in the evening and drove his car to the bank to deposit the day's receipts in the bank's drop box. It was a dark night with rain and freezing sleet. He was found dead in his car which had rammed into a power pole along the street. His death was reported by the police as an accident, but his bank deposit was never found and his family maintained he had been a robbery victim.

BIO:William and Margaret had no children. After his death Margaret married (2) Archie Moore and, as his widow, (3) Lumsden.
