Information given by daughters Mary and Eugenia (Mickey) at Columbia Falls, Montana, 1995. Edith birthdate stated April 9, 1896.
Edith completed nursing education in North Dakota and worked as an R.N. in Kenmare and Minot. She met and was courted by John Campbell who was a bank employee at Sherwood, North Dakota. They were married in 1922 in Everett. During the depression when the banks were closed John Campbell was employed by Government agencies to help farmers manage and keep their farms. They also lived at Dickinson, North Dakota. Their oldest son was killed in World War II.
As a widow Edith moved to California where her family settled. In 1995 she is survived by daughters Mary and "Mickey," both living as widows in Columbia Falls, Montana.
