Jane is not listed with her family in 1920 in North Dakota, and it is probable that she had been in one Tuberculosis Sanitarium or another for several years before her death in 1924. On the Death Certificate her age is stated as 51 years, her husband is listed as Charles Assels of Norman, N.D., but she is "divorced".
