In the Name of God I Thomas Harper of County of Stafford being of sound Mind do make this my last will & Testament. First my Just debts be paid. Imprimis I give unto Thomas Harper, Son of my Brother George Harper one Negroe girl named Winnie. Item I give to George Harper Son of my Brother a Negro boy named Jacob. It is my desire that the two Negroes should work for my Brother George Harper while the two children come of age. I give to my Brother Samuel Harper's Son Thomas Harper my Negro woman Moriah. Item I give unto my Brother's Son Samuel Harper one Negro girl named Lettice. Item it is my will my Brother Samuel shall have use of them till his two sons come of age. Item I give unto my Sister Mildred"s Daughter Zernah Thompson one Negor girl named Clara. Item it is my will that my Negro man Congo shall be sold & the money be equally divided between my Sister Mildred's Son Jesse Thompson & Sarah Nixon's Oldest Son. Item I give unto my Brother George Harper four cows & calves. Item I give unto my Sister Mildred Jones 8 Ewes. Item I give to my Brother Samuel Harper 4 cows & calves. Item I give unto Zernah Thompson 4 Ewes, and all the rest of the sheep to be equally divided between my Brother George Harper and Samuel Harper. Item I give my Sister Mildred my horse named Prince. Item I give my Brother Samuel Harper my horse named Fox. Item I give my Brother George and Samuel half of the rest of my Estate, to be equally divided between them. And the other half to be divided between my Sister Mildred Jones' children. Lastly I appoint my Brother George and Samuel and Mildred Jones Executor & Executrix of this my last will and Testament .. 11th July 1758.
