In 1862 John, a whisky salesman, travelled alone to New Zealand in the ship "Lady Egidia" & Catherine followed about a year later, following the birth of their son John. Their son Fergus Ferguson Munro, his wife Emily Foster and their children came to Australia in 1941. «/i»
