      [Andrew Munro] «i»Of noble race' (son of a priest and an unmarried woman); Bachelor of Decreets (got possession on excange with John de Inchmartin & got new provision) Archdeacon of Ross 6 October, 1422; new provision 1431; promised to pay for foreits of office unlawfully taken up , 22 January, 1431; postulated as Bishop by charter on death of Bishop John Bullock, Unconfirmed by Eugenius IV (1440), but confirmed by Pope Felix V at Basle 1441 (not effective); granted pension by Eugenius on fruits of the see 1441, on record as Archdeacon 1451, dead by 24 October, 1454, when William Ross succeeded him. Same as comissary of Ross 1451. * a conciliarist in the "Little Schism'. see Andrew died 1473
