[Alexander D. Neil Munro] «i»graduated in medicine at Edinburgh University (Highly Commended), 1864. Purchased medical practise & lived at Weston House, Cupar, 1870; made will 2 October 1872, and after few months illness, died before 4 April 1873, leaving widow Mrs. Hay Margaret Edie or Munro; litigation over 'goodwill' of practice before Court of Session (John Bain v. Alexander Munro & Mrs. H.M. Edie or Munro) decided on appeal 10 January 1878.
List of Graduates in Medicine in University of Edinburgh, 1705-1866 (1867), p. 180; Session Cases, 5 Rettie, 416-26 (1877-78) - not explained who Alexander was.
