The following is a transcription of RW Munro's genealogy notes:
[Alexander Munro] «i»Son of 'a small farmer' in the Tain district; brother of Finlay (itinerant preacher, c. 1820-34) whom he survived; proposed to get Finlay's papers printed; widow lived in Glasgow in old age, & had copies of Finlay's letters. Wished to follow Finlay as an evangelist 'for which he had no gift', but was discouraged by a friend. See also Alexander Fraser (b. 1815).
