The following is a transcription of RW Munro's genealogy notes:
[Alexander Munro] «i»Musician in Forres; appointed with his spouse Marjory Henderson to teach "musick", "seamstarie" etc, by magistrates and town council of Fortrose in May 1713; in 1716 they were asked to leave the "upper Tolbuith" (the present council chambers), whcih they evidently had used as schoolroom. ? Same as 'Teacher' (1730) and in 1736 "master" of musick School at Tain.
