      The following is a transcription of RW "Billy" Munro's genealogy notes:

      [Alexander Munro] «i»writer, Falkirk; admitted Procurator 1812; juryman at trial of John Baird at Stirling foir high treason, 1820; d. 13 Oct 1835, (buried East U.P. Church ground), having m. 1811 Mary Hardie Mungall, Falkirk, with issue - Alexander (d. 1838), & 4 other sons & 2 drs, incl William Mungall. prob. same as father of Mary Munro (m. Wm. Dickson, merchant, Edinburgh, whom she survived, dying 21 Feb 1910).
