[Alexander Munro] «i»Son of Alexander Munro and Catherine Stewart; born Ross-shire 1827; studied at University and New College, Edinburgh; ordained Free Church Minister at Paisley (Gaelic) 1857; translated to Campeltown 1858; and to Glasgow, Stockwell, 1867; died 25 March 1869, having married 1860 Sophia Dunbar Brodie Mackay. Daughter Helen Sophia (died 1941).
