      The following is a transcription of RW "Billy" Munro's genealogy notes:

      [Rev. Alexander Munro] «i»Son of John Munro (c. 1720-) and Mary Mackenzie; baptized at Urquhart 17 January 1757 ; educated Kings College, Aberdeen, (MA 1777), ordained Edderton 1785, (succeeded. Rev. Joseph), d. 30 October 1820 (tombstone says 31st), having married (1) 1781 Margaret Cooper (d. 1797) with issue - Hugh* (b. 1782), Mary; (2) 1798 Simona (d. 1834), daughter of Simon Mackenzie of Scotsburn , with issue - Margaret Mackenzie (1799-1854), John (b. 1804-30), Vere Menzies (b. 1806), Alexander John (d. 10 December 1848, aged 19). Grandson "of Belnabium" (Balnabeen, Urquhart Parish near Alcaig.
