Gurka Rifles & retired 1935. died Langholm 14 Sept. 1943, having married 22 April,1919 Marion Frances (b1892), only daughter of the late Lt. General Sir John Spencer Ewart KCB of Craigcleuch, Langholm with issue: Hector Seymor Peter Monro (b-1922) & Jean Marion Pamela Monro (b-2-May-1920).
