    • The following obituary was published in the News Tribune, Tacoma, Washington on 4 Nov 1995:

      Willa M. Woodford, 73 of Tacoma, died Thurs., Nov. 2, 1995. She was born Nov. 15, 1921 in Peru, IA. Willa was a graduate of the 1940 class of Yelm High School. She enjoyed bowling and crafts. She is survived by her husband, Louis; daughter, Leah Rae Neff, Clackamas, OR: sons, Louis K. Woodford, Springfield, OR, Les W. Woodford, Auburn; sisters, Harriet Hansen, Tacoma, Josephine Johnson, Tacoma, Shirley Waters, Yakima; 5 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Friends who wish may give to Willa's favorite charity, Muscular Dystophy or a charity of their choice in her name. Services will be held Tues., Nov. 7, 11 a.m. at Fir Lane Chapel. Entombment to follow in Fir Lane Memorial Park Mausoleum.
