[Rev. Alexander Rose Munro]«i» Second son of Robert Munro (c.1795-1867) & Euphemia Macdonald, was b. Bonar Bridge 3 March 1835, graduated M.A. at Aberdeen, licensed minister of Free Church of Scotland 1856; ordained Alness 1858, where he was minister until his death there on 27 June 1903, having m. 1867 Margaret Sinclair (d. 1920), with issue incl. Robert (1868-1955, Lord Alness), Alexander Rose (1881-1950), & Dorothea Wilson (m. Andrew Younger Mackay & d. 1963), John Sinclair (d. 24 February 1875, aged 4 months), Margaret (d. 30 March 1872, aged 2 months).
