• Notes

  James joined the U.S. Army about 1934. He served all during World War II and was stationed in the Islands, Japan, Germany, Terkey, Texas and Oklahoma. He retired from the Army in about 1958 after 24 years of service. He then went to work for Hartford Insurance in Dallas, Texas. He retired again at age 66. The Mitchell reference says James died in Apr 1990.
