  • Notes
    • Elizabeth was educated in Boston, Massachusetts. She played the organ at harvard University.

According to the 1878 Atlas, she emigrated from USA in 1853 and it is assumed that she married Henry about this time. She brought with her to Rosedale Farm, Lot 29, Conc 2, the first piano in the West Durham County.

After leaving Rosedale Farm, she lived with her daughter Eleanor Munro Garvin in Hamilton. Henry's granddaughters, Florence Munro Sheppard and Margaret Bowen Downing occasionally visited her in Hamilton.

She died in 1901 and is buried in the Bethel Cemetery.
