- This may be the same person as either [6732] or [6736]. His wife was the daughter of Edwin Allen.
During the Civil War, Thomas enlisted in the 28th Regiment of the Pennsylvania Volunteers. He fought in many of the major battles of the Civil War including Antietam and Gettysburg. He was commissioned in the latter stages of the war and was wounded twice.
