Munro, Dana C. (1866-1933) An historian extremely interested in the Crusades, Dana Munro's magnum opus was a detailed history of the Crusades. He ruled that no statement must be made in historical writing without a contemporary reference. In 1902-15 he was professor at Wisconsin. He was active in many historical associations and published much historical work.
