- Robert and Peter were twins. Peter died in infancy and Robert was anoxic. He lived for some time with his older sister, Harriet.
Robert never married and died in the Monroe Township insane asylum where he had lived for at least 10 years. He may have been there because he was disabled instead of being insane.
