- Error alert: There is some confusion about this person in the Monroe Family Bible reference. The reference lists two people who are daughters of George Monroe and Anna (or Nancy) Worley. They are: Polly Monroe born 13 Dec 1814 and Mary Monroe born 21 Feb 1815. Supposedly they are sisters, but the dates indicate they were born only about 2 months apart. Polly is often used as a nickname for Mary so it is possible these two are actually the same person. Why she/they are given two different birth dates is unknown.
