      The following is from Volume 5 p. 351, Farmington, Connecticut - 28 Dec 1711 via the Guilford reference:

      Know all men by these presents that I Dennis Manroh Junr of Norwich in ye County of New London & Colony of Connecticott in New England am holden & stand firmly bound unto my Honoured Father Dennis Manroh, and Jaen (Jane) his wife living in Ye Town & County aforesd the sum of one hundred & fifty Pounds of good & Lawful mony of New England to be ppayd unto ye sd Dennis Manroh or Jaen (Jane) his wife or to his or her hers Certain attourney heirs Executors administrators or assigns to which Payment well & freely to be made I bind my Self my heirs Executors administrators firmly by these Presents sealed with my seal and dated December 28, 1711---------------the condition of this obligation is such that if ye above Bounden Dennis Manroh his heirs Executors administrators shall Build a house for his Father Dennis Manroh or Jaen his wife to dwell and break them up two acres of Land & fence ye Same fitt for improvement & to keep them a cow & horse for theyer own use Dureing ye Natural life Both of Either of them, and also to Pay unto his Sister Martha Manroh two Pounds -- as mony after his Fathers Decease -- allso to Pay unto his father or mother Dureing Natural life of Both or Either of them the sum of fourty Pounds Ten shillings a year twenty shillings to be in money the rest in Good Pay at mony Price the sd mony to be Payd four shillings a Quarter -- then ye above written obligation to be void & of no effect or else to Remain in full force & effect -- Dennis Manroh -- Signed Sealed & Delivered before Joh Fitch Stephen Francis -- A true Copy of ye original Recd for Record March 9, 1732-3 -- John Hooker Regisyer
