  	Elmo suffered an injury or fell sick and died while working in the logging industry in northern California. He was buried at his place of employment (unknown). The family was unable to retrieve his body. Sarah Elizabeth, Elmo's sister, got a letter from Elmo's wife in California saying he was dead from something like pneumonia. She could not afford to bring his body home to California from Cedar City, Utah, so she asked for his personal belongings. They sent her his clothes and when they arrived, they were bloody, which was evidence that he may have died from an injury instead of pneumonia. The location of Elmo's death is a bit muddled. If he died in northern California, why was his body in Cedar City, Utah?
