  Obituary from The Times-Picayune (New Orleans, Louisiana) "Ellisa Soila Monroe Ellisa Soila Monroe, a student at Ursuline Academy, died Thursday of smoke inhalation at Medical Center of Louisiana. She was 16. Ms. Monroe was born in Panama City, Fla., and lived in New Orleans for the past nine years. She was a former student at Kehoe-France School. She was active on the swim and soccer teams at Ursuline Academy, where she was memeber of the Student Council. Survivors include her mother, Elsa Kurczyn Monroe; a brother, Britt Monroe of Clanton, Ala., and two sisters, Nikki and Rebel Monroe of Clanton, Ala. A Mass will be said Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ursuline Academy Chapel, 2635 State St. Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp is in charge of arrangements." Note: The name of Ellisa's mother in this obituary does not match that given in the reference membership application.
