| Notes |
- He was not living with his parents in Albion, New York in 1850 nor was he with them in Watertown, New York in 1855. In 1861, he was living with his father in Seymour Township, Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada. After his marriage, he lived in Osceola County for a while and then moved to Munro Township, Cheboygan County, Michigan in about 1878 where Orren homesteaded land near that of his brother, Peris, and began farming. Sometime after his marriage, Orren changed his name from Munro to Monroe.
