    • Mary was the daughter of Frederick and Mary Louisa (Eaton) Baker of Winchester, Massachusetts.

      She was a lifetime member of the Winchester Baptist Church. She was politically active as a Republican and was a member of the Fortnightly Women's Club, W.C.T.U. and the Women's Republican Club.

      Her favorite leisure activities were bridge, church activities and various clubs.

      Her husband died before their last chld was born. She brought up six children without a husband, educated them and her obituary said, "She had a pleasing personality, endearing her to all whith whom she came in contact."
