Notes |
- Belinda is listed on the 1850 census as being born in New York, but the more probable location is New London as her parents were there until about 1799.
She was initially buried in the Knight Cemetery at the northeastern corner of the intersection of Green River Road and Lincoln Avenue, close to what was later the eastern outskirts of Evansville. In 1923, the Evansville Common Council granted a petition to have the bodies exhumed and the cemetery vacated. Her remains were reinterred in the same grave with her husband and son, Joshua, in the Oakhill Cemetery.
