  Ref 1 says Vere was born in 1801 and died in 1851 in the 41st year of his age. Either a date or the calculation is wrong. From the dates of birth of Vere's siblings, it appears that both his birth date and age at death are incorrect. Vere was not married. Some biographical information appears in ref 1.
