- George is on record both as 'George Monro Georgeson in Katwell' and as 'of Katewell'.
The Loehr reference says George's mother was Janet Frazer (b. 1526 in Ross and Cromarty, Scotland and d. Rossa and Cromerty, Scotland).
Ref. (1) p. 78, calls George a "natural son" meaning that he was born out of wedlock.
