  Error alert: Ref 3 says Augustine Garnett "Gus" Monroe was a prisoner on the British ship, "Jersey", and that he was exiled to the United States when he was 16 years old. This doesn't fit with the fact that his father was born in the United States. He was admitted to the Albemarle County, Virginia bar in 1817, (ref 2 says 1815). He lived in Alabama and Houston County, Texas. The Johnson reference says Augustine was a son of Andrew's first wife, Frances Garrett.
