    • Leo Charles Mueller (or Muller) was the son of Charles Louis and Marie Elizabeth (Unglewickel) Mueller. Both parents were from Germany.

      Leo attended the U.S. Naval Academy and the Coast guard Academy. He was a member of an expedition to the North Pole and is said to have his picture in the National Geographic Magazine early in the 20th century. He served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy.
