- In 1799, Donald was a shoemaker in Bogriach, in 1803, he was a farmer in Blackhill, in 1811, he was a Servant at Culcairn. It is quite possible that this is a composite of several men named Donald, but if so, they each were married to a Janet Munro.
The baptismal record for his son, Alexander, names Donald as "Donald Munro MacEnoig."
