- Isabella was the daughter of Alexander and Leslie (Mckenzie) McArthur. She and Kenneth were married in Scotland and immediately emigrated to the USA.
In 1867, she and Kenneth settled on a farm near Bronaugh, Vernon County, Missouri.
Isabella (ref. (2) says Isabel) was a life-long member of the Methodist Church South and a sincere Christian woman who made many friends.
She died of old age at 11:10 a.m. on 20 Dec 1926, at the home of her daughter, Maggie.
