Radley; suc. to Auchinbowie on death of uncle David in 1905, sold it to cousin Major George Nowlan Monro 1910; Board of Agriculture inspector from 1899, principally for business under Food & Drugs & Fertilizers Acts; private secretary to successive Presidents of Ministry Agriculture & Fisheries 1915-19; Principal Clerk 1919; C.B. 1919; d. (result of an accident) in hospital 28 April 1960 (funeral in Norfolk), having m. 1910 Geraldine Marion Murray-Johnson, with issue - David (1912-14), Neil (b. 1915) & 1 dr. Jean (b. 1916)
