- After his father's death, John (Deacon) Fassett was "bound out" to a farmer in Braintree, Massachusetts.
John married Isabel Bogle (Boagle). She was born in Scotland and was from Natick, Massachusetts.
He lived in Rutland, Templeton, and permanently settled in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire about 1767.
